French forward wants to remain at White Hart Lane

Tottenham striker Louis Saha wants a new contract at White Hart Lane with his current deal set to expire this summer.

The 33-year-old joined Harry Redknapp’s side from Everton in January, scoring four goals in 12 appearances.

“I cannot say I want to leave,” Saha said. “Harry has been good for me personally. What makes him so good is his personality, tactics and the way that he can work and relate to the players.”

Tottenham have been heavily linked with Marseille striker Loic Remy, but with Chelsea’s Champions League triumph meaning Spurs will be in the Europa League next season, that move is now in doubt.
