Transfer news: Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar has been linked with a move to Tottenham
Tottenham are among the favourites to land Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who has confirmed he is leaving Inter Milan.
The 32-year-old stopper is reportedly on Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas’ wishlist as he looks to replace the 41-year-old Brad Friedel.
“These have been seven really beautiful years and plenty of them successful,” the Brazilian wrote on Facebook.
“But in a few days my adventure with Inter will be at an end.
“I thank all of you fans for the support you gave me in this time and I wish you every happiness in the future,” added Cesar, who has been at Inter since 2005.
Steffen Freund admits that Tottenham’s youngsters have been left in the background during Spurs’ surge into the top three of the Premier League.
