Transfer news: Brad Friedel backs Daniel Levy to have a back-up plan if Luka Modric leaves
Tottenham star Brad Friedel believes that Spurs will replace Luka Modric with another excellent player.
The Croatia international is linked with a move to Manchester United, Chelsea as well as Real Madrid.
Friedel told talkSPORT: “Knowing the way the chairman [Daniel Levy] works, if someone like Luka Modric left the club, then they would have a ready-made replacement.
“I can’t see with the ambition that the club has that they can let players leave without having a replacement. We’re not a selling club - that’s for sure.”
Tottenham blogger Alan Robins gives his verdict on Spurs’ season.
