Jan Vertonghen is looking forward to facing Liverpool
Tottenham new boy Jan Vertonghen is relishing the clash against Liverpool tomorrow.
The Belgium international made played his first full game for the club in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with LA Galaxy in the first game of their USA tour.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he said. “Liverpool are a great team but I hope we can beat them.”
Vertonghen also felt he had settled in with the north London club.
“I have to adapt to the style of play but I feel good and the lads are really helping me,” he added.
“I feel amazing here. Everyone is helping me, the manager, players, staff and I’m so happy to play for Spurs.”
