Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted it is in the club’s hands over whether he signs a new deal with the club
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has cooled speculation surrounding his future at White Hart Lane, insisting he does not have a problem with chairman Daniel Levy.
The 65-year-old has been the subject of reports suggesting that he had fallen out with the Spurs chairman and with his contract due to expire next year, increasing talk of an exit from the north London club.
“I’ve never had a problem with Daniel Levy,” Redknapp told Sky Sports. “I have no idea where that came from.
“The situation is that I have one year remaining on my contract. It is up to Tottenham if they think I am the man to take the forward.
“It is a good club and I enjoy being at Tottenham.”
With the Premier League title already in Manchester United’s hands and the relegation issues also decided, the battle for European football is the only unanswered question ahead of Sunday’s final round of games.
