Transfer news: Jan Vertonghen is set to move to Spurs
Ajax manager Frank de Boer has conceded that Tottenham target Jan Vertonghen will head to White Hart Lane.
The transfer battle has still been going on and the Belgium international has returned to pre-season training.
However, it seems that the two clubs are, finally, coming close to reaching an agreement.
“John has his head in London, so we sent him home,” De Boer told Telesport.
“He is only waiting on a few minor details before he gets the green light.”
