Santos’ left-sided youngster Bruno Lamas claims that Tottenham have made inquiries about his availability.

However, on this occasion, negotiations were not taken forward and the 18-year-old is flattered by the interest shown by the north Londoners.

“What I can say about the Tottenham is that I know there was a consultation,” Lamas told London24.

“I’m happy with that, but for now I can say that my focus has always been the Santos, where I plan to professionalize and to stand out.

“I want to become a professional player here, working under the command of Muricy Ramalho is one of the top coaches in Brazil.

“I work out every day in pursuit of that goal.”
