Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka has left White Hart Lane to link up with Slaven Bilic at Lokomotiv Moscow according to reports in Russia.

The Croatia struggled to get a game at Spurs thanks to the emergence of Kyle Walker and spent the second half of last season on loan at Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

Corluka has spoke a few times of his desire to leave Spurs and is the first signing of former national coach Bilic.

"Vedran is one of the leaders of the Croatian national team," Lokomotiv's website quoted transfer chief Kirill Kotov as saying. "This is a versatile defender of the highest class."
