Tottenham head coach Andre Villas-Boas has provided an update on his injured stars.

Kyle Walker and Rafael van der Vaart were both forced off against LA Galaxy but the Portuguese boss is hopeful that they will be available for the game against New York Red Bulls on Tuesday.

“Rafa had a small pain in the adductor during the week, we have to re-assess him, he shouldn’t be too serious, something to take him out for three or four days,” Villas-Boas said.

“Kyle has a slight twist of the ankle, nothing too serious hopefully. I think both should be available for the Red Bulls game.”
