Transfer news: Spurs are interested in signing Alan Dzagoev, who has also been linked with a move to the Gunners
Tottenham have made a bid for Russia forward Alan Dzagoev, according to the player’s agent.
The CSKA Moscow star scored three goals in the Euro 2012 group stage but his country crashed out of the tournament after a 1-0 defeat to Greece.
Dzagoev’s agent, who is also his father, wants to ensure that the 25-year-old will be playing regularly.
“I don’t know if he will stay at CSKA,” Tariel Dzagoev is quoted as saying in the Sun. “There are offers, from Spurs and other foreign clubs.
“But I am telling him not to rush. Yuri Zhirkov went to Chelsea and sat on the bench.”
Chelsea brought in less money from the Premier League than Arsenal or Tottenham, despite finishing above the pair.
