Transfer news: Ganso has been linked with a big money move to Europe
Arsenal and Tottenham look set to miss out on Ganso after the Brazil playmaker committed his future to Santos.
Ganso, who has been strongly linked with a transfer to the Premier League this summer, was speaking in London, where he is currently preparing for the Olympics with the Brazil squad, having previously expressed his desire to stay at Santos on Twitter.
“I heard a lot of things that were not correct,” Ganso told a press conference. “Twitter was just a way for me to show to everyone what I was thinking and feeling.
“Today, my future is at Santos,” he added. “I have a contract until 2015, and right now I am focused on winning the gold at the Olympic Games for the Selecao.”
Chelsea brought in less money from the Premier League than Arsenal or Tottenham, despite finishing above the pair.
