Roy Hodgson has called Tottenham’s Jake Livermore into his England squad ahead of tomorrow night’s visit of Ukraine.
The midfielder is one of three players drafted into the set-up after Arsenal’s Theo Walcott withdrew sufering from stomach cramps, while Chelsea’s Daniel Sturridge was also struck down but is hopeful for the Wembley clash.
Also called with Livermore up for the World Cup qualifier are Southampton’s Adam Lallana and Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling.
Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell has been called into the England squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Republic of Ireland and Brazil.
