A Wood Green bookshop will host a one-off special book club to mark this year’s Man Booker Prize.
The winner of the prestigious literary award will be announced on October 16 and the Big Green Bookshop, in Brampton Park Road, will hold the Booker Prize Book Club on the same night.
Those who wish to join the club are asked to attend the bookshop next Thursday where copies of the books shortlisted for the award will be delegated to club members to take home and read.
The group will then meet again on the night of the awards ceremony next month to discuss the shortlisted books and select their winner before the official announcement.
