An investigation has been launched after a woman had to be rescued from her burning flat.
The woman was taken to safety by firefighters who were called to the second floor flat in Middle Lane at 11.23pm on Friday.
Three fire engines and about 15 firefighters had the fire under control by 11.45pm, containing the damage to a small part of the flat.
The woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
