Police were called at 6.30am to reports of a road traffic collision in High Road, near the junction with Tottenham Green East.

Ambulance crews attended the scene and took a 19-year-old man suffering a head injury and neck pain to the Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel.

The teenager’s condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Two women and a man were also taken to North Middlesex Hospital, in Edmonton, with minor injuries.

A 21 year-old man, believed to be the driver of one of the cars involved, has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and remains in custody at a north London police station.
