A man has been arrested in connection with a house fire in Tottenham which left a policeman in hospital earlier today.
Firefighters and police were called at around midday to reports of a blaze at a house converted into flats in Philip Lane, South Tottenham.
A police officer who entered the house was taken to a London hospital suffering smoke inhalation and has since been discharged.
A man in his thirties was arrested in connection with the fire.
