A man appeared in court on Monday accused of killing a Tottenham cyclist while behind the wheel of his lorry.
Barry Roe, 66, of Whitchurch Street in Enfield, could face up to five years in prison if found guilty of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
Mr Rowe’s articulated lorry was involved in a collision which crushed 20-year-old student Paula Jurek, of Beaconsfield Road, South Tottenham, in Camden Town on April 5, 2011.
Mr Rowe did not enter a plea, and was released on bail pending his trial, slated for October 2 at Blackfriars Crown Court.
