Hundreds of children descended on a Crouch End cricket club for the “last hurrah!” of the summer holidays.
Bouncing along at the family fun day. Picture: Tony GayAbout 550 children and parents arrived at North Middlesex Cricket Club in Park Road for Haringey Families’ annual summer fun day – complete with pony rides, trampolining and African drumming.
But while it was a little later than usual – a flooded cricket pitch delayed the event – the children could take full advantage of the last Monday of the summer holidays.
Organiser Frances Hampton, of Braemar Avenue, Wood Green, said: “It was a great day with a lovely atmosphere and lots of families getting together.”
