Be inspired by some of Haringey’s best-designed buildings at an exhibition touring the borough.
Photographs and information about the 15 buildings – including Haringey Mortuary and “overall design” winner Heartlands High School – nominated in the Haringey Design Awards 2012, are on show at Wood Green Central Library, High Road, until the end of the month.
The exhibition will then move onto Marcus Garvey Library, Hornsey Library and 639 High Road, Tottenham, to offer as many people as possible the chance to find out more about architecture in Haringey.
Cllr John Bevan, Haringey design champion and cabinet member for housing, said: “This year’s Haringey Design Awards were a huge success and prove that when it comes to quality design, the borough has plenty to be proud of. The awards are part of our efforts to bring better design to all new building projects within Haringey.”
Thousands of people poured into Priory Park on Sunday for the 21st annual Crouch End Fun Run and Festival.
