Donkey derbies and a brand new Britain’s Got Talent-style competition will be just some of the entertainment on offer at this year’s Muswell Hill Festival.
Now in its eighth year, the festival returns to Cherry Tree Wood, in East Finchley, this Sunday for a jam-packed day of family fun.
There will be an array of stalls from the local community on show, as well as crowd favourites such as the annual donkey derbies, monster veg competition and dog show.
This year, organisers will be launching the inaugural Muswell Hill’s Got Talent competition at the festival, showcasing the best of local talent.
Competitors will perform onstage in front of crowds who will then vote for their favourite performer at the end - the act which receives the loudest cheer from the crowd will be crowned winner and given a recording session or equivalent at BonaFideStudio based in St James’s Lane.
If you are interested in signing up for the Muswell Hill’s Got Talent competition, booking a stall or advertising in the festival programme, please contact Daisy Mathebula on daisy@cplondon.org.uk or 020 8444 7242.
Thousands of people poured into Priory Park on Sunday for the 21st annual Crouch End Fun Run and Festival.
