Thousands turned out to enjoy a colourful celebration of Tottenham’s South American community at the weekend.
The annual Fiesta Latina Festival of Culture returned for its second year on Sunday at Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Town Hall Approach Road, South Tottenham.
Organised by non-profit group Fiesta Latina, the festival began with a banner parade from Wood Green through Green Lanes and Seven Sisters Road.
Visitors at the fiesta were treated to an array of Latin American food, along with displays and stalls of national crafts, art and live music such as tango, rumba and salsa.
Children also had their faces painted, while Mickey Mouse and his cartoon character friends made a special appearance.
Organiser Raul Mancera said: “A festival such as this, whilst it ensures that our children do not forget their roots, also helps to integrate our community and culture with this country.”
Thousands of people poured into Priory Park on Sunday for the 21st annual Crouch End Fun Run and Festival.
