A talented Crouch End singer is preparing for her biggest gig yet after landing a starring role in a one-off glitzy West End show.
Charlotte De Paeztron, 24, of Inderwick Road, will take centre stage as one of the lead vocalists in next month’s West End Charity Gala at Leicester Square Theatre.
The red-carpet show, taking place on September 23, boasts a cast of emerging performers assembled by talent scouting project New Talent Spotlight.
Charlotte graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, in Clarendon Road, Wood Green, with a Musical Theatre degree in 2009.
She has since spent six months singing at hotels in Cyprus and recently performed in a tribute show to musical lyricist Don Black, which was attended by Mr Black and his family.
She said: “The show will be a collection of songs from films that have become musicals. This will be a chance to showcase what I can do, it’s going to be quite a prestigious event.”
Russell Scott, founder of New Talent Spotlight, said: “Charlotte is an enormous talent - she’s got a stunning voice. We are thrilled to be able to get people like her up there and seen.”
Next month’s show will be in aid of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.
