Two teenagers have appeared in court accused of an attempted robbery in South Tottenham which left a three-year-old with a broken leg.

The two boys, aged 15 and 16, are accused of unlawful wounding and attempting to rob a 20-year-old mother of her handbag following the incident in Philip Lane on March 26.

The 15-year-old also faces a further charge of assaulting a police community support officer.

Both teenagers appeared at Highgate Magistrates’ Court last Thursday and were bailed with conditions, including a curfew from 7pm to 7am, to appear again at the court on May 10.
