A 16-year-old boy has been jailed for 16 months after robbing two youngsters in Alexandra Park last month.
The teenager was sentenced at Highbury Corner Magistrates today, along with another 16-year-old who was handed a 12-month youth referral order for his part in the robbery.
Both boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had pleaded guilty at a previous hearing to robbing one victim of £10 in cash and the other of a Samsung mobile phone worth £200 as they walked through the park in Muswell Hill on April 11.
An Olivier Award-winning actor who wowed London audiences as the autistic hero in The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time has become an ambassador for a Muswell Hill charity.
