Two teenage boys have pleaded guilty to robbing two other youngsters in Alexandra Park last week.
The boys, both aged 16, admitted robbing one victim of £10 in cash and the other of a Samsung mobile phone worth £200 as they walked through the park in Muswell Hill last Wednesday.
Both teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested shortly after the incident by officers from Haringey Police’s robbery squad.
They appeared at Highgate Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, admitting two counts of robbery each.
The hearing was adjourned for pre-sentence reports to be compiled ahead of another hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on May 1.
One of the boys was remanded in custody and the other was granted conditional bail.
