Seventh arrest following north London dawn raids

A seventh teenager has been arrested after this morning’s dawn raids against suspects believed to have been involved in the early outbreak of last summer’s Tottenham riots.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested by officers from Operation Withern at a north London police station on suspicion of violent disorder and burglary.
Six more teenagers were arrested in the early hours of this morning, after two waves of raids at 11 addresses in Haringey, Hackney, Walthamstow and Enfield.
A woman, 19, and two men - aged 18 and 19 - were all arrested at addresses in Tottenham on suspicion of violent disorder and burglary.
Officers also arrested a 17 year-old man at an address in Palmers Green on suspicion of violent disorder, a 17-year-old man at an address in Chingford and a 17-year-old man at an address in Stoke Newington on suspicion of violent disorder and burglary.
All are suspected gang members who are thought to have been involved in the early outbreak of the disorder in Tottenham on August 6 and 7.
All seven detainees currently remain in police custody at London police stations.
