Detectives have released an e-fit image of a man who allegedly assaulted a 12-year-old schoolgirl.

Police want to speak with him in connection with an assault at 7.45am in Ella Road, Crouch Hill, on September 15.

A girl walking towards Dickenson Road was grabbed by the suspect and told not to scream or run.

The victim was eventually freed after he made other comments.

The individual is described as a pale white man, aged around 30, 5ft 7in tall of slim build. He had light brown hair with blonde highlights and bright blue eyes. He wore dark clothing with a grey baseball cap and white Adidas trainers with black stripes.

He spoke with a gruff London accent.
