What do four A*s, six As and three Bs looks like? These delighted faces should tell you.
These boys from Haringey Sixth Form Centre are all looking forward to the rest of the holidays before they head off to university in the autumn.
Friends Glen Gronland and Shomon Miah are both jumping for joy after getting the grades to study bio-chemistry at UCL - one of the best university’s in the country.
Glen, who got an A* in maths and As in chemistry and biology, had yet to tell his parents when the Journal spoke to him but, as the first in the family to go onto university, they are likely to be delighted with the results.
The Elm Park Avenue resident, 18, said. “They have been backing me all the way.”
But it seems it was a tense wait between the exams and results day for Shomon, also 18.
Shomon, of Birstall Road, South Tottenham, said: “I was not sure I would get the grades, I was 50/50 so I am very happy - I got A* [in maths], A [in chemistry], B [in biology]. Now I can just enjoy my summer.”
